JOB SUMMARY:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computer systems in an office and a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware and being the primary point of contact for IT support within the company. You will partner with the IT Manager and operations team to provide IT support for the Antwerp, OH and Niles, MI manufacturing facilities, maintain a stable and secure infrastructure, and work to improve the efficiency and profitability of the Paragon plants.  You will be encouraged to bring innovative ideas and best practices.

Fill-in in the absence of the IT Manager.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • User account creation and administration
  • Serve as point of contact for team members seeking technical assistance
  • Maintain network and server infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
  • Deploy workstations and software
  • Maintain and monitor backups
  • Work with plant maintenance teams to troubleshoot and collaborate to provide IT solutions
  • Order and maintain hardware assets as well as track software compliance

The above reflects 80% of the job. Other duties and responsibilities may develop or be assigned


 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education desired
  • CompTIA A+ certification or 2-3 years of related work experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently while focusing on high-priority tasks
  • Must display a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and be readily adaptable to changing priorities
  • Must be able to travel 20% of the time to support both manufacturing plants as needed
  • Must be able to work on-call as needed or scheduled
  • Must have a commitment to safety

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the latest Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
  • Knowledge/experience of Active Directory including GPOs
  • Knowledge/experience of DNS/DHCP
  • Knowledge/experience of basic wireless and wired network protocols and standards
  • Knowledge/experience of backup systems
  • Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge/experience supporting mobile devices (iOS / Android)
  • Knowledge/experience of anti-virus programs and remediation
  • Knowledge/experience with asset management and software compliance
  • Proven results of IT solutions provided, best practices, and remediation

General Labor is used in all stages of the fabricating process to load, seam, unload and inspect glass at various workstations.  This position is trained on proper glass handling; proper loading technique on various conveyor systems and basic customer requirements used to evaluate the glass product and check job specifications and prepare glass for specific operation. This position is assigned a given process daily and that change regularly.

In this role responsibilities requires the ability to observe detail, concentrate, retain and recall oral and written instructions, communicate with co-workers and supervisors, and identify and communicate problems to supervisors.

JOB SUMMARY: Lead the shift in attaining safety, quality and production goals in accordance with overall plant goals. The person in this role will lead second shift to meeting and exceeding daily outputs by empowering others, communicating expectations, and adjusting as needed to make the day. The role will require a hands-on approach, a learning mindset and driven mentality. An attitude of “We”, jumping in to help the team and leading by example are a must.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closely supervise employees on assigned shift through coaching and training to meet specific goals for each production line/area.
  • Understands the operation of the machinery and job tasks on the production line.
  • Assign tasks and direct employees, as necessary.
  • Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained by all direct reports.
  • Enforce the Company work rules and administer progressive discipline as necessary per established guidelines.
  • Assists direct reports in maintaining a safe and accident-free work environment.
  • Maintains confidentiality of Company records.
  • Ensures a harassment free, nondiscriminatory work environment through fair and consistent treatment of employees.
  • Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Help coordinate the flow of production between shifts, communicating relevant information about production activities and potential issues.
  • Lead by example through professional conduct, treating others with respect and good communication.


 BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience leading people
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends
